One Powerful Shift:
I’m not ready yet.

How many times have you told yourself, “I’ll do it when I’m ready”?
While
- Starting that business idea.
- Having that difficult conversation.
- Taking a leap into a new career.
- Committing to healthier habits.
- Even reaching out for support.
For most people, “I’m not ready yet” feels like a practical, responsible thought. But in reality, it’s one of the most subtle forms of self-sabotage.
The Truth About Readiness
In coaching, I often see individuals and leaders stuck at this exact point. They know what they want: more clarity, confidence, balance, or breakthrough results. But the thought that keeps them trapped is:
👉 “Let me figure out a little more first.”
👉 “I’ll do it once I’m stronger, smarter, or more confident.”
And yet, the very thing they’re waiting for comes through starting.
- Confidence is built by showing up.
- Clarity is discovered in action.
Strength grows with every step forward.
The Invitation to Shift
So, here’s my invitation to you:
Instead of asking, “Am I ready?” start asking, “What’s one small step I can take today?”
- Write the first paragraph of that book.
- Make the first call.
- Book the meeting.
- Take the walk.
- Say yes to the conversation.
One step unlocks momentum. Momentum creates growth. And growth makes you realize — you were always more ready than you believed.
Final Thought
The most powerful breakthroughs don’t come from waiting until you’re ready. They come from saying:
✨ “I’ll begin anyway.” ✨
So today, ask yourself:
➡️ What dream, decision, or change have you been putting off because of the belief “I’m not ready yet”?
➡️ And what would shift if you just… started?
